ExxonMobil and Mace Project Management employed Burrows Cave International as their architects and designers for the interior fit out of their new regional office in Ankara. John Burrows was team leader and initially carried out a stringent due diligence exercise on six existing buildings in Ankara before selecting the Sheraton Hotel site as the best location for EM’s offices.
The office space included main reception, boardroom and meeting facilities, cellular offices, open plan and breakout spaces, technical areas and ancillary rooms.
The 400 sq m site required significant preliminary enabling works prior to the fit out. John was responsible for the architectural, interior design and furniture delivery of the whole project, coming in on budget and within time. ExxonMobil moved into their new offices in January 2011. Prior to selecting the Sheraton site, John initially carried out a stringent due diligence exercise on six existing buildings in Ankara.
